INSULATION PAD FOR FLOATING FLOORS XPS 700

podlozka-pod-plavajucu-podlahu

Insulating pads made of extruded polystyrene XPS700 have an insulating function and ensure effective heat retention. They are characterized by extraordinary pressure resistance, as the name says, up to 700 kPa – 70t/m2. In addition, they are resistant to frost, moisture and water. Underlays with a hardness of less than 500 kPa are not suitable for floating floors, as they do not provide a stable and hard substrate for many years. It is a durable and resistant material ensuring trouble-free use of the floor with a heating system for many decades.

USE OF INSULATION MAT XPS 700

INSULATION PAD UNDER THE FLOATING FLOOR

XPS 700 floor insulation is used as thermal insulation and a base for TRIVOLT heating films. Most of the world’s floor manufacturers require a specific pressure resistance of the floor insulation more than 400 kPa, which represents the limit value. For the long-term preservation of the stability of the floor substrate, we recommend the XPS 700 underlay, where the parameters are declared stable for up to 50 years. The insulation pad meets or exceeds the given parameter, as its pressure resistance is 700 kPa.
