REGULATION OF HEATING FILM

For floor heating system using heating film, a thermostat with a floor temperature sensor must be used. If we place the heating foils directly under the floating floor, the thermostat will switch more often, but the floor will have a faster start-up. With the option of placing the heating film under the screed, we get an accumulation system that keeps the heat longer.
- the floor temperature sensor limits the maximum temperature and prevents the floor from overheating
- the air temperature sensor built into the thermostat switches on the underfloor heating as needed
- If the floor is heated, the heating is not switched on but waits until the heat is transferred to the room and the floor cools down
- Standard temperature for floor is 27 °C
